Doc appeared preoccupied, couldnt remember my symptoms (even tho they were written with a rough timeline)...Dr Bosky is not good...if you want a scrip they flip you immediately but they cant make a diagnosis.

I have actually never written a review for an app until now. This service is awesome. The doctors I spoke with were very thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. The app is designed well and the service is affordable. The only suggestion I would have is to maybe make a page that clearly outlined the cost of things it was kind of unclear going into the consult what the cost would be. I would be weary of any of the reviews that say "1 star, they just told me to go see my doctor" they might just be an example of laypeople who think they know more than physicians who went through like 12 years of schooling and training plus however many years of training. This service is great and it has undoubtedly improved my health/well-being.

Fast and easy really good for people who are tight on money and cant see a doctor

I was struggling on getting a prescription to birth control since my clinic had closed down and I needed access ASAP. Googled up how to get birth control pill prescriptions and stumbled upon this app. Thank goodness for that. Its really easy to use and I love the idea of how you can just "text" your doctor. I matched with dr. Pranava and shes been really sweet and helped me connect to a local doctor so that my prescription could be refilled. Dr. Bakhru helped me out and like I cant stress this enough, but it was just really easy and convenient. I didnt have to drive to a clinic or anything and got my prescription while I was laying in bed so... overall, awesome app!

First of all how are you going to keep repeating your self saying ok do you understand do you want to go over are notes I mean keep asking me while Im asking for help and I I bet not of this doctors are even from the untied states there to cheap to have American doctors that know and that can help I had a question about my sore throat they keep telling me some stuff to take and non of that worked and what I just did went to a Real Doctor and asked and he said I had allergies have me meds doctor told me this people dont know nothing not sure how they got there doctors degree but like I said all this doctors are useless if I could rate with No Star I would do it

First Opinion wont allow their doctors to prescribe prescription drugs that are available over the counter, even if it will save you a lot of money (Such as nicotine patches). Also, when you message your doctor, it wont always be the same person. Each doctor has a team of after hours doctors. Every time I ask her a fundamental biology/anatomy question, the doctor will beat around the bush and tell me she cant give me a concise answer. Even though, in biology and anatomy & physiology courses in college, you are required to know how different mechanisms of the body work and what factors affect them, etc. She couldnt tell me approximately how long it will take for the cilia in my lungs to regrow.

I consulted with Dr, Kia . She is amazing, patients, helpful and she has no eyes on money. She explained every problem kindly . As a doctor she answered fast , and in detail .

Dr. Pranava has been super helpful during our conversations and she checks up on me every so often. Never had a doctor do that for me before!

This app has been so useful (and helpful!). Dr. Kia is great - she patiently answered all of my questions and also brought up some things I didnt think about. Shes helping me get healthier and stay healthy. Now I talk to her when Im not feeling well but also when I have questions about general health (nutrition, sleep habits, etc.). Before First Opinion it was me and the Internet for all of my healthcare needs. Glad Ive moved on to something better!

Easy to use, well-designed, and it provides an incredibly helpful service. My family has a history of heart disease, and Ive had some questions on my mind lately about my own health. I decided to try out this app to see if I could get some helpful information about cardiovascular health in general. My simple question turned into a serious discussion about my familys history with heart disease, and the steps that I should be taking to make sure Im as healthy as I can be. Dr. Bosky took a real interest in me. She encouraged me to go see a doctor, and to have the necessary tests done to properly evaluate my cardiovascular health. She also told me that shed be checking up on me soon to make sure I make an appointment. My last doctor just shuffled me through his office. Its a good feeling to have a relationship with a doctor who really cares about my well-being. I hope my new cardiologist is as helpful as Dr. Bosky.

My family has been relatively healthy the past few months, so I havent talked with my doctor much, then over the last two weeks my kids just fell apart. My daughter woke up sick at 2am and Dr Manni was right there with us answering our questions. Then my one year old son tripped and smacked his head right into the corner of the coffee table and, once again, Dr Manni was right there helping us know what to look for to figure out how serious his head bonk was. I love this app!

Cant believe it has taken so long for something this useful to show up. Really good to get an initial opinion on any medical issue youve been facing and then super easy to get a prescription delivered to your nearest pharmacy. Dont need to take half a day off and go into a docs office anymore! Love it.

Part of getting older (late 20s ugh) is that I get sports injuries more easily and stay sick longer. Have a medical expert on-call is so handy so I dont have to schedule office visits with my high deductible plan. The web version makes it easy to have conversations too! Thanks Dr. Bosky!

This app has been such a time saver for my husband and I. As new parents, we always have a question regarding whats normal and whats not. With this app, you get your answer immediately without having to wait for an appointment or take your new baby out and about all the time. Such a personal experience and I love the follow ups!

I think this is a great tool to get you through until you see your doctor. The potential health benefits would be amazing. Where it falls flat is in the legal jargon. I asked a very specific, yes or no question, and the doctor Im talking to can only use the scripted version of, talk to your doctor. This happened multiple times. I just wanted to know possible causes for a speeding heart rate and she would not give me a list. Im only asking because Im concerned. I dont know the legalities but they need to come up with a better way to answer specific questions. My experience with this app is highly disappointing.

For my fellow hypochondriacs, or even people who just want to make sure they stay on top of their health - First Opinion is a great app. Without getting graphic, I was having a pretty unusual case of food poisoning, which seemed to be getting worse each day. When I reached out to FO, I got quick, empathetic, and helpful advice, which not only helped me physically but made me feel more calm about the whole situation. Its only been my first experience, but Im sure Ill be reaching out again soon (hopefully not for more food poisoning though!). Thanks FO!

It was really easy to get started, and my doctor messaged me back right away. Definitely good for all those little questions that randomly come up.
