The price is ridiculous $29!!!! I used to pay $15 smh
The price is ridiculous $29!!!! I used to pay $15 smh
Great prices, you can afford it without insurance.
This place used to be good but then they started raising up their prices! I definitely can’t afford it this anymore. I’ll look somewhere else.
The doctors are helpful and straight to the point
I came across Curai Health while on Google in search of a telemedicine provider. I was very reluctant to go to the ER because I had done some research on Google and pretty much came to a conclusion as to what the issue was (though not an educated one). I was pretty sure I had cellulitis and an antibiotic would do the trick but a Rx is needed. I didn’t want to go to the ER or Urgent Care just to get an Rx (I was feeling sluggish/fatigued, in a great deal of pain, and had no desire to get presentable to leave the house). I came across Curai Health’s info on Google and saw that it only cost $14.99/mo (you can cx anytime) so I gave it a shot. I entered my info, selected “Chat now for Urgent Care”, was greeted by a chatbot who took my intake info, summarized what I had said to to T, and a nurse practitioner joined the chat within 10-15min. She asked for more details, images, etc and confirmed my self-diagnosis and provided me with an antibiotic and home-care instructions. She will be following up with me after 3 days to see how I am doing. I had a wonderful, amazing experience with my tele-visit, got the care and Rx I was looking for, and would highly recommend Curai Health to anyone who needs immediate care that would not require hands-on, in-person treatment. Thanks again, Curai Health, for taking care of me and my condition with efficiency, understanding, and compassion. Keep up the great work!
I asked for a drs note. Never got one. I’m lucky I can’t lose my job or anything because of it 😒
They don’t have you pay through the App Store because Apple is too easy to work with to get a refund!! This is really just Health/Prescription Management. Yes, they have doctors, yes they will write prescriptions, but only after they refer you out for real life care. They WILL send you out for in person care for even the smallest issue (I had a skin issue which had been previously diagnosed four times) and they WILL NOT tell the truth if you ask if this is right app for you!! I suppose this is the “future” of medical care. I wouldn’t be so annoyed except you have to do a video call before you pay and enroll. During that call, I told the doctor I didn’t want to be referred out for in person care. Of course, the doctor side stepped a direct answer saying she could “prescribe anything indicated” without me being referred out. I told her “this isn’t going to help me if you refer me out, I understand you can’t say yes or no now, but please just tell me this app isn’t for me if there’s ANY reason you’d need to refer me out to be prescribed “x” med for “x” condition.” The doctor gave me the canned answer again. So I paid and did the visit. Same doctor sent me out for in person care (blood test). She actually had the nerve to say “I can’t prescribe anything without blood testing”.
And saves me a lot of time from having to go to the doctor’s office. Doctors are very responsive and visit is quick and efficient.
Always says a physician will respond within 24 hours. I’m lucky if I get a response in 5-7 business days.
“Curai has been a game-changer for me in accessing top-notch healthcare from the comfort of my home. Dr. Kane, my assigned physician, embodies professionalism, compassion, and expertise. Her thoroughness in diagnosing and addressing my concerns has always exceeded my expectations. All of the providers and support staff have been so kind and helpful. I highly recommend Curai to anyone seeking convenient, high-quality telehealth services.”
I much prefer using Curai versus a traditional Urgent Care visit. I like that it mitigates further spread of illness by eliminating the in-person aspect. I found the AI chat to be quick and easy, and the report it made for the provider to be detailed and accurate. My provider was helpful and sent in a prescription to my pharmacy for me. It was ready within a couple hours. I will definitely continue to use Curai for urgent care needs and also look forward to giving the PCP feature a try. As a mom of two young children, it is hard to find time to go into my PCPs office regularly, not to mention any additional visits for bloodwork, etc. Looking forward to seeing how Curai can further streamline and simplify these processes for me.
I needed a medication that my primary doctor prescribed to me awhile ago. I no longer could afford to go back. So I tried this service. My request was simple. No narcotics were desired, just a medication that is used off label for insomnia. (Tizanidine). They said it was outside of their scope to prescribe it. So, they were no help at all. (Asia) my so called prescriber denied me service. Yet, they still want payment. Then they wanted to prescribe me Trazadone which is used OFF-label as well! Hypocrisy. Anyway. They still charged me. What a screw ball operation. Never again
I was diagnosed with strep and received antibiotics from my local urgent care. Did not work so I downloaded this app in hopes to receive a different antibiotic. Was super easy, just had to explain my symptoms and send a picture and everything was done through the live chat. I requested a specific antibiotic that has worked well for me in the past and it was no problem to get. Done in about 10 minutes and prescription was sent to my local pharmacy. Highly recommend this app, the $15 membership is well worth it for the convenience, and you have unlimited use of the app for the month.
I have nothing but good things to say about this service…as I travel a lot and have moved cross country this past couple of years, the care providers have helped me with medication refills and ailments when it was difficult to find a primary care office while traveling and moving. I love using this app and I highly recommend it!!!
Speedy, convenient, and the doctors were so nice!!!!
You never know month to month if you will get your same prescriptions refilled. The primary care physician was great, but anything with the live chat is inconsistent. Dr. “Greg” always passes the buck and tells you to send your pcp a message. Clearly, not what is advertised, or any help. Half the time you get someone who is great and the other like above. The inconsistency is why I’ll be canceling after this month.
This app is legit but there are some issues that make it problematic. First they don’t work with insurance at all for reasons unknown. They literally refuse to provide the “ICD10 code” for the prescriptions so that insurance will cover them. I don’t understand how that even is possible but trust me no script they write u will be covered so if you have any kind of insurance this app will be useless to you. The prescriptions and doctors are real though. I’ve tried to get telemedicine from several other apps with no luck bc I had an odd but important and medically necessary request. The doctor was smart and quick and there for me when no one else was. Dr Kimberly Troung was the doctor it picked for me and she was awesome! Thank you so much!! My only issue was a minor one with the app itself and that They don’t tell you the docs aren’t available at night. 7-9:15 PM PST are their hours but you only learn this after signing up. Either way I’m glad they didn’t tell me bc I might not have signed up and ultimately gotten the help I needed!!!
I love using this app. They respond quickly and after a few questions I have a prescription at the pharmacy. They always follow up a couple days later to check on me. I even had labs ordered that I paid less than $10 for and they went over the results with me. Super affordable and highly recommend.
I know I had an ear infection so I got this app so that I can speak to a doctor and get a prescription without going to the hospital since I don't have insurance.. I started a live chat and I told the person my symptoms (which were basic ear infection symptoms) and I was scared into going to the hospital because they made me think it was somthing worse than it was. When I got to the hospital.... I was literally out of there in 10mins with an antibiotic prescription.... now I'm going to have a medical bill for somthing that could've been easily taken care of on this app... thanks 🙄
I used this app for the first time and I had a great experience. I already knew I just needed antibiotics for a staph infection on my skin. I was looking for a way to obtain this without having to take my toddler with me to a waiting room full of sick people. I stumbled across this when looking for a telehealth provider, and this is much less expensive. The medical assistant I chatted with referred me to chat with a physician and I ended the chat with the prescription I needed. Both were kind, compassionate, and non-judgemental. I would recommend this to anyone for a non-complex health issue. There are obviously things that you would need to see a doctor in person for, but for the simpler issues, this is awesome. They also offer a free trial, so you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.
I’m surprised it’s taken this long to find out about a service like this but I’m glad I have. Incredible that it’s only a few dollars a month for unlimited visits. So far I’m very impressed.
Absolutely no assistance with my health concerns, I literally was tested positive for something somewhere else. Came here and they diagnosed me with what I tested positive for told me I would have to get labs done . I then handled my labs and everything comes out negative which I know is not true because I have every symptom. Then tells me I have to be seen in person. Lost $80 on labs
I would get help right away and they would actually answer me questions throughly and help. Now they just give a quick answer and dip. Your lucky if they answer you right away
I concur with all the low reviews. The doctors were smart, cared, etc. now that it’s rebranded and only serves Cali and Florida... it’s horrible.
I miss the old app. If you need a refill they’re good about it. But they’re going to say that you have Covid if you have anything related to a cold. The wait time is a little longer than it should be but it’s not bad. One of the doctors used family history and then created the diagnoses off of family history without looking into anything else. Having doctors in the family I know that you never look at family history first you look at symptomology pain threshold and other factors then you look at family history and then you run tests if applicable. The doctors just jump around and try to find a quick answer. I’ve use other telemedicine apps and I’ve had much better success. This one I’m a bit concerned about because there’s only two or three doctors that can help you out and they do their best but in the purview of their diagnoses and prognoses they are usually vague or blame it on Covid. The reason for the three star review is that they do try and they’re very polite but their approach to Madison doesn’t follow standard medical procedure on diagnosing based off of symptomology, past history, and pain tolerance. This app is good for a quick chat to find out a better direction on what’s going on with you but it’s not a good app to get a clear and full diagnosis related to anything. Dr. On Dr. app does a much better job.
In the new era of online Doctor’s visits; Curai Health offers a brilliant “User’s first,” approach to overbearing medical correspondence apps. Simple and Smart. Good work! -Loren
amazing smooth cool app!!
this app is the place to go and keep coming back for your medical needs. it’s convenient, easy, and they guide you through the steps plus they can get you labs and prescriptions!
They didn’t even try. I was met with a big fat “we don’t do that” when I asked for HRT. Mind you, California is an informed consent state. Basically transphobic :P
This app makes the process of getting trustworthy medical advice so much easier... Highly recommend it!
This app was really good but now I ant even contact the doctors on here anymore
Doubtful I will ever go to a doctor again in-person - this solves all the pain and hassle of having to be in-person for treatment & prescriptions - highly recommend!
I’m kind of upset that I’ve wasted so much time in waiting rooms after using this app. A lot of the stuff I had to visit a doctor for I just do here and the BEST part is that I can get checked with tests and they can prescribe meds now. Like I had to get some labs for a chronic condition but I was nervous about COVID but they were totally able to order it for me over the phone! So I’m keeping this on me forever for all my med issues
i have only had one consultation but i got answers with ong minutes relieving my stress and not having to pay a typical 200+ fee like at the doctors
I used this app when it first came out as “First Opinion”, and the Dr on the other side was one of my favorite online medical experts I’ve spoken to, to this day! It’s TOO bad that now they only serve people in California (whack af) and aren’t as willing to help others in other states. I WISH this was still First Opinion. Not worth the download!
I used the vivid assessment to get a quick response and I felt it was accurate and based on enough information. I think this is a great tool to use in today’s world.
You can talk with real doctors
Such a comfort to be able to chat with a doctor so easily - avoided going to the urgent care. I had to wait a few minutes longer than hoped, but was totally worth it.
I can’t think of a another service when you can text a health professional on demand for free! Wish I knew about this much sooner! Great for things I would normally go to primary care for.
Able to get quick responses that addressed my medical concerns
Can’t believe that I can talk to a doctor for free and get treated. I couldn’t see my primary care doc because of COVID, and this app was able to address my issue. Really easy and convenient to use - and the doctor was very thorough and caring in addressing my issue.
Easy to use, free, doctors and health coaches were great. Would recommend to anyone for their health needs!
I can't afford health insurance. Not even catastrophic coverage. First Opinion helped me get through a lot of iffy medical circumstances during the course of its operation. The few doctors I was assigned over the years seemed to genuinely care and follow up on what I was dealing with. They helped calm my panic, narrow down possibilities based on my symptoms, and inform me of what I should do, could do, and shouldn't do which led to a more collected response to issues at hand instead of potentially endangering myself or overreacting. Aaaaaaaaaaand now that's gone. I really haven't found a replacement like it.
This application has been my go for quick consultations with friendly and communicative health professionals. Easy to use app with minimal wait time. One thing Id suggest. I hope they push this to other locations and counties (currently only in California) in order to support the dynamic situations we are currently facing with COVID-19.
i’m so impressed with how quick and helpful the doctors on this app are. I’m happy I found an app that’s free and informative.
This app is very helpful, has quick responses, and would use again. 5 stars.
So it says it can only service California. But I used to be able to use it ANYTIME I wanted. I loved my doctor that I talked with and now...
First Opinion used to be really great with quick responses and accurate information, with comforting people on the other end. Once it updated, the people on the other end became more like robots, and the responses took hours. You would have to type the same message 3+ times for it to finally send, and then deleted when you exited the app. The information given is now plain and what you can get on google. Plus, I just found out they switched it to “Curai health” which can only serve people in California. So not worth the download
Hi this service that I had with curai health formerly first opinion I don’t like that service that I received they take forever to respond to you. And then when they finally answer you they give you is the same answer you can look up. And they only serve California don’t recommend the app to no one
